Friend said G’s NYC’s headcount was going to go up later this year after the expansion? Anyone confirm? I got L4 but couldn’t match into NYC 🤷🏻♀️. But recruiter said we could try up to a year. 280k / 4 yoe

You misinterpreted his post. He isn’t talking about the cool off period. He is saying that the recruiter told him that his Hiring Committee approval is valid for 1 year and they will continue trying to find teams for him till then!

Hnnn more of a back up in case I get screwed in December bonus. Other than that feel like it would basically be the same. Feel like I would jump otherwise if I get matched with a team that’s actually working on something with huge scale that we don’t get at TS.
When did you interview and pass HC? I’m told there’s no T4 positions in NYC.

In the same boat. Got HC approved a month ago (L5) and haven't had any team match conversations for NYC.
