got lowballed at Amazon. Now do what ?
I am L5 PM at AWS with TC ~120k with 7 YOE, new to the US and i didnt do much research before accepting this offer as it seemed pretty fine to me. Comparing this against others I am definitely underpaid. what can i do next to get more money?

Don't blindly accept offers. It's always a low-ball if you aren't aware of how much you should be getting paid and negotiating for that.
Get competing offers and reneg or change jobs. This is pretty obvious isn't it?

Do your time at Amzn. Remember that you were happy with the salary originally. Nothing has changed except your perception. Typically people who are under band will get corrected over time. There are techniques for getting pay increases but those are fairly obvious.
I appreciate it this thought. When you say they get corrected over time. What do you mean ? How long can it take ?
You might get larger yearly raises to put you in band over time. That will be somewhat automatic, if slow. Concentrated effort might speed it up.
When you feel stuck, generate options
This is not uncommon buddy. Almost all ppl who gets transferred in USA through L1 are given low offers. But give it some time to get corrected.
I would eat all the bananas from the the banana stand for the low TC
Craft jewelry in your spare time. Sell blood plasma. Get a paper route. Yard work.
