got offer that is 40% higher but might not accept..
i got an offer from amzn that is about 40% higher than what im at now (160k TC). its clearly higher but im not very interested in amazon and Im still more interested in the other companies Im interviewing with. my issue is i dont think these other interviews will finish in time before the amazon offer expires. what do I do?

tell the other companies you have an offer and need to expedite the process. punt the amazon offer as long as you can

Try keep negotiating with Amazon don't make the number final. That buys you some time.

Accept if you absolutely need to because they won’t extend the deadline, rush the other companies as soon as possible, and if you get an offer you like, reneg on your offer with Amazon.
Accept, you 🐓. Then quit Amazon when you get better offers, which might not happen, but then again with the bar being non-existent for women, you can likely just walk into any tech company and get an offer. It will take like 2 months before your first day at Amazon anyway. By that time you’ll have the security of a better offer (Amazon), which you can also use to negotiate, and the opportunity to continue interviewing. Passing is a huge mistake in my opinion.
