i moved from h4 to h1 ( employer A, desi body shop ) worked for a year and moved to Employer B ( consulting , desi body shop, worked for an year) and then to Employer C (American , mid size company $300 M business , in IPO , FTE) currently I Have hard copies of w2 from Employer B and Employer C , however i lost hard copy of W2 from Employer A I am going for h1 stamping for the first time , will not having W2 from Employer A create problems or will the interviewer ask for originals of Employer A TIA
Firstly I don’t think they ask for W2. Even if they do, they ask only the documents related to your current employer. I agree with the comment.. “Anything can happen”.
Did you file your taxes using any software? If so, you might be able to download your 1040 with w2 attached.
I have soft copies of all W2 , it’s that I don’t have the hard copies
Just print them and you should be golden.
I have soft copies of all W2
Did you have any issue with h1b stamping?
Whats the name of desi body shop bro i m unemployed might need to go through the same path

Generally it shouldn’t create any issues. Problems happen more often with USCIS processing docs in US. As long as your answers are good for current job, you should be fine. Since the current administration is out of whack, anything can happen.
