harassment and stalking
If someone is stalking/harassing from another company. Should you let their HR know? This is across state lines and the police are moving very very slow.
You have nothing to lose, and I would think HR would care very much. They probably can’t take any action against the person, but they should keep an eye on them
Give HR a copy of the police report
Are you afraid they'll show up at your work? Do you badge into your office?
Building security would probably be better to talk to.
What type of harassment are you talking about? Hope you are not talking about some LinkedIn messages

Why would hr care about such complaint? You don't work for the same company.
Because they don’t won’t be sued by ppl at the company the harasser is in if he pulls he same thing there.
They will act based on speculation that he *might* harass someone in the company? And that too without an actual conviction?
Possibly. It depends. A guy from a competitor was harassing me and I ignored it. Then I found out he was trying to get a job in my office. I stopped ignoring it. Just document it for now unless there's something you think they can do, like blocking the job application.
I think Police should know
