Tell her you will take a bachelors’ trip with your buddies, if she is not up for it. She will say “I want to go”, or you will get to go alone. Win Win

Have you tried using food? Usually food motivated living things are easier to influence.

Food? Like witholding food from her until she agrees. Lol that sounds brutal

Nooo I mean like give her some delicious food every time the conversation of travel comes up. She will then associate food with travel. Positive reinforcement. Then suggest more good food in the travel destination so she agrees.

In my case things are opposite. I am more of sit at home types. But I don't have option to say no to my wife..lol

Well at least you save yourself some $$. I wish my wife didn't like to travel so I can go alone 😬

Tell her you have a surprise that she can't say no to. Arrange everything that made you fall in love with her as part of it and explain that aspect-- girls are sappy for those things. She'll feel bad if she rejects it after you put all the effort and thought. When you go on vacation, remind her of why you fell in love with her before kids...

Do you promise to take complete responsibility of the kids during that trip? Right from waking them up, brush, breakfast, shower, play, lunch, nap, park, cleanup, dinner, brush, shower, story time, bedtime? Ok, how much of it do you really take care of during the vacations? Are those things easier at home than on vacations for your wife? Can you make some improvements there?

Drop them at the grandparents

This might be it. OP, does going on vacation make things harder for your wife to the extent that she might want to avoid it completely? If she is the one taking care of all the chores, you have your answer. Have a genuine conversation with her about why she doesn't want to go and how to make it a pleasant experience for her.

Have a few of her friends post some pictures on FB to make her fomo lol

Sounds like a tiger mom. Book the vacation and say “surprise”.

Okay. Present her with the Finland study. They’re number 1 in math and science and the top rated education system. And their philosophy is less is more when it comes to education. I mean she is squandering your most valuable commodity. Every parent with the means knows that you go on vacation on every school break. It’s a no brainer. Your kid won’t miss becoming Einstein because they had a break.
