I have been working as a contractor for almost a year, and now the company i am working to wants to give me a full time offer. when the recruiter approached me, she asked my salary expectations and then she just sent me an email saying that she will give me an offer for a value that's much less than what i am earning even as a contractor. I got a feedback from my team leader regarding my performance and he said I exceeded the expectations, which I think it's a good point to at least give me a better offer... so, how do you guys recommend me to handle this situation? I have 2 yeo, they are offering me 47k total comp for europe/nl. Do you think is a good idea to mention my concern to my manager? or should I just handle it with the recruiter only?
I think it's worth mentioning that's not even close to being competitive. Be polite during your decline. Chances are though, HR already knows this and as much as they would love to pay market to get talent, there's probably someone above them demanding otherwise.
I thought my 52k was small wow

Start applying elsewhere. They’re low balling you. They already like you yet they offer such a low amount. I would consider applying elsewhere now.
“Thank you for your consideration. The offer in its current terms is not such that accepting it would be in my best interest at this time”.
47k damn! EU/UK have to do better when it comes to TC. They pay 🥜
