Analytics degree from where ? There are several available but not sure which ones on the money. I am in the same situation. Just got into an MBA not because I like it but because I HAVE to. Been trying for jobs for more than a year but no luck.
Nope, until and unless you have lot of money or if that makes you proud or accomplished. I know a friend and a bunch of his friends who finished their MBA at a top 2 school in the US , thinking employers will be in queue once they are out. Out of everyone , only my friend resume got picked for Google that too not because of his MBA, he was referred by a high level executive from the connections he made at school. He finally got a job at Google because of his heavy tech background and skillset. For all other people , the resumes haven't even got picked for multiple positions at any of the big names. For very few the resumes were picked but flunked in the interviews. I really didn't see a value apart from having a good alumni network , who can refer or help you in future. So for the most part that 200k is in drain.
It's only worth it for the networking aspect imo.
Yes, you that's what I got to know from the people who studied MBA except for very few passionate individuals.
Depends on your goals. Just bc you have an mba doesn't mean an employer is going to hire you right out of school, you still have to work for it, but it does give you invaluable tools. Look into a work compatible MBA. Higher ROI.
No. Unless it's from a top 10 school, it won't make a difference. And try to get into a top 5.
