I'm not getting along with my manager very well in past year, but I'm a little surprised that he wanted to put me on PIP even if I gave quality deliveries. some of my team members made terrible mistakes on deliveries, which caused some big incidents on production, for example, exposed a customer's privacy to another customer, but they can easily get away with it. I had thought quality deliveries are the most important criteria for performance evaluations. I just wanted to know that if it's a common practice in apple that a manager can give an unobjective evaluations for engineers he doesn't like?
