They did the same to me and ghosted me. They will say there is no headcount and keep interviewing other candidates. My buddy from faang was talking to them at the same time and got an interview.
Ghosted me too, had a call with recruiter he said he was gonna send some info over by email never got anything, pinged him on LinkedIn two weeks later he blamed outlook issues then sends me a message a month later they have no headcount says he’ll ping me in about a month and never heard anything again lol
Same story. It looks like they are being selective about which candidates they let through the process and lie to the others. When they hit me up after I’m at faang, I’ll set up a call and then ghost them, saying I’m fully booked. Let’s see how they like those apples.
