microsoft immigration?

applying for Microsoft and scheduled interview after assessment. now i got a set of emails subject lines: Visa evaluation initiation, invitation for msft us immigration questionnaire, msft us immigration visa evaluation case questionnaire. opening the questionnaire, the required documents to upload are passport and resume. im a us citizen and i filled out the application as “not rquiring sponsorship”. is this something everyone fills out?
