move to Amazon at similar TC?
I am with Intel at 220k in Portland, 8 YOE. Is it worth it to move to Amazon at SDE2? i couldnt pass the bar at sde3, so i an weighing if a sinilar TC is worth it for the experience of moving to a more dynamic company?

Haven’t tried google, have been underconfident. Maybe will try now. Btw, location is not an issue.
Never go to Amazon without substantial increase in TC, you'll regret it deeply.
Try for SDE 3 in a few months. No reason to do it now
I'm in the similar situation but decided to join as SDE2. It's a good XP for resume and I would feel pretty stressful as external hire. 10 YOE
What would the commute difference be? Do you see potential in moving up at intel in the near future? If not, might be worth the lateral move for higher growth potential.
