Mmmm. I mean at a large tech company 75k is what a PM might get as RSU. Non big player, is it really that low? It’s not real money until it vests anyway. And startups have large turnover. Don’t get stuck not getting any RSUs when you end up not liking it. Then you’ve missed a whole year of $
What would you push for in this case
With startups I go for higher salary and extended vacation time because you will work your ass off. More RSUs is a perk, ask for it but get your base at a place where it’s worth it. Or you’ll be looking in 6 months.
