anyone using zzzquil onregular bases? it mentions on the packing that its not habit making, is it really non-habit making? tc:130k
Zquil prevents your brain from the deeper REM sleep it needs to process memories and regulate cognitive function
Melatonin ftw
+1. The only sleep aid that your body makes anyway. Anything else with fuck with you in the long term.
Taking daily antihistamines can cause you to have rebound hives/allergies when you don't take them. It's also actually bad for your sleep. I think the way they're marketing it is super unethical. It's just not a good drug for what they advertising it for.
Taking any medication long-term is asking for trouble. Find and fix the root cause rather than ignoring the problem.
Do not take this long term. You will develop a dependency on it. Take melatonin instead.
Melatonin. Read up on it. Need a lower dosage that you might find OTC is many places. Usually see 10mg but you want much less than that if you take it regularly
10mg is way too much. More than about 0.5mg doesn’t raise effectiveness although higher amounts, eg 3mg will allow at least 0.5mg to be absorbed into the bloodstream faster than just taking 0.5mg alone. 10mg will cause drowsiness the next day.
Only one way to find out
