seattle to vancouver by car

never done that. is it easy to drive there and back on same day ? im supposed to go there for dinner and have work next day ? if i leave by 430pm do you think i can go to vancouver, spend 2-3 hours and be back late night ? any gotchas at immigration ? i have GC

Easy! Night traffic is very light, so you'll be full speed on the road as well as the border. Did several times.

Maybe a 3 hour drive. If you leave at 5, youll get there at 8. If you spend 2 hours there then leave at 10, you'll get back at 1am. Thats not taking into account the border. You should be good on paperwork.

Vancouver to dt Seattle is 3-3.5 hours. Border wait time is 20+ min, but can be as bad as 3 hours.
