      1. Not an ML role, Android eng, 8 years of experience
      2. Tips - make sure you have good negotiating offers. Uber, Airbnb, Lyft and similar unicorns are your best bet since they offer outrageous shares (even though its air money). Also read “how to not bomb your offer negotiation” part 1 and 2. Super helpful.
      3. Yes 800 is for 4 years, 200 per year.

    There are large ranges by level for each company-depending on skills, experience, competitive environment, etc. just looking at google l3, TC ranges listed here - low is $305 and high is $610. To find out where you should fall in that range, given your unique situation, check paysa. Free. Do yourself a favor.

      Even I feel Paysa is highly inaccurate.. I guess paysa would be in demand only when everyone feels they are earning less (nobody would see paysa if they were happy with their earnings 😊)., hence they seem to manipulate the numbers and show them higher

    Why does Apple pay less when compared to others? It's is no way near to FB, Amazon Uber or Google. They are supposed to have the largest cash reserve amongst the others. And with the recent news about its rank dropping in best workplaces, shouldn't they start considering to keep the employees happy?

      Leetcode helps with the remote round and a few onsite ones but the main differentiator between L5 and L4 offer is in system design. Invest a lot in system design courses as well as understanding real life designs from your current work

      FB pays a lot more than MSFT for same level. I am joining in Jan (Jan 16th bootcamp)

      I am Senior/L63 and also had Google offer, but going with FB. I was making $220k TC at MSFT.

      I don’t know about level mapping. I can only tell that after working at FB as E5 and if E5/L5 maps to L63, or did I just get lucky.
