Annoyed by all the repeated questions about offers on Blind, I went to collate the numbers from the posts I see on Reddit and Blind.

I update this list as and when I see compensation discussions on Blind. If you would like to contribute data, please comment and I will update accordingly.

      Hey guys
      1. Not an ML role, Android eng, 8 years of experience
      2. Tips - make sure you have good negotiating offers. Uber, Airbnb, Lyft and similar unicorns are your best bet since they offer outrageous shares (even though its air money). Also read “how to not bomb your offer negotiation” part 1 and 2. Super helpful.
      3. Yes 800 is for 4 years, 200 per year.

There are large ranges by level for each company-depending on skills, experience, competitive environment, etc. just looking at google l3, TC ranges listed here - low is $305 and high is $610. To find out where you should fall in that range, given your unique situation, check paysa. Free. Do yourself a favor.

Paysa is active on every forum but there's always threads about how wildly inaccurate the numbers are. Every company I've worked at their numbers are 30-50% off. Small and large orgs.
      Dec 13, 2017
    • Google Noogie
Paysa is wildly inaccurate. Not just because of the data but also the statistical representation

Paysa was inaccurate by a large margin when I looked up my numbers.
      Dec 15, 2017
    • Couchbase stealthdb
Even I feel Paysa is highly inaccurate.. I guess paysa would be in demand only when everyone feels they are earning less (nobody would see paysa if they were happy with their earnings 😊)., hence they seem to manipulate the numbers and show them higher
      Dec 16, 2017
    • Amazon Vacuum
No actually they showed that I was earning more than I should. I people with similar years of experience to me earning more. In face I think my pay is average for my role / level.

Why does Apple pay less when compared to others? It's is no way near to FB, Amazon Uber or Google. They are supposed to have the largest cash reserve amongst the others. And with the recent news about its rank dropping in best workplaces, shouldn't they start considering to keep the employees happy?
