What do you get access to at .5M level that a new grad $150k engr doesn’t? Or is it just knowing that you’re able to command that high of a number?
You get the opportunity to work on huge systems of scale that most other places don't have, and brush shoulders with people way, way smarter than you that are harder to find at startups or lesser paying companies (something something big fish in small pond).
