Every time I negotiate with a recruiter (amazon at the moment) for higher TC, the response is always "Don't worry, if you perform well, your TC will increase in the future." Any strategy to handle such a response given that I don't have competing offers on the table? I'm doing interview but with a lesser company.
What components of the TC that we should and are easy to negotiate? Thanks!
