anyone with recent experience with triplebyte? are they still as exclusive and hard to get into their referral program as it used to be or have they lowered their standards quite a bit?
I see hundreds of ads for them on reddit. I try to block them but there are always more. Hate them.
Idk if it's different now but I tried them 2 years ago. Multiple choice test was easy to guess the right answers to. I got destroyed on the coding and debugging. 30 minutes to write tic tac toe and a bot to play it, 30 minutes to debug some stuff with several different files. I spent 20 just looking around to see what was even going on.
Quick, how fast can you make a garbage fire? Good. Good
I took the quiz and aced it so I went straight to the 2 hour interview. I didn’t pass it but at least I still have the prompt LOl
I think they focus less on system design now as I recently passed the 2 hour interview and didn’t encounter any system design questions this time.
Passed the 2 hour phone interview with them. After that they have a 1 week window where your profile is visible to companies and companies can show interest if they want to move forward. You get to accept or reject these requests. Mostly small to medium sized companies. Not many companies I was interested in.
How was the 2hr interview?
They suck. Asked me what a bloom filter is. Failed interview and wouldn’t give detailed feedback. How am I supposed to get better if the only feedback is to reread cracking the Coding interview!
