sorry for the ignorance but would like to understand . just read the article how uber is bringing 3000 jobs to Dallas. i jnow theres more to the company than just the app, but how many employees does it take to run the company effectively? as a user of the app it doesnt seem like it requires this huge enterprise behind it?

When Microsoft has over 300 products, yes. When Uber has one product, no.

Are you serious? All the different ride type (uberx, pool, ...) , their scooters, freight, Uber eats, self driving (not a product but still a lot of people)

Okay four. I wasn’t counting self driving as a product since it’s not out yet.

Three products: Uber’s taxi competitor, Uber Eats, and Uber freight.

UberX and Uber pool are just different tiers of the same product. If you count those as different, Microsoft has thousands of products.

They are lying to get a tax break. Watch, they will have 250-300 employees and "problems finding qualified talent."
