The place is running with consultants, a case I’m sure. But do yourself a favor and search for threads on “Wayfair technical incompetence” “how to succeed at wayfair” and maybe “Wayfair culture.” Most teams I know of at Amazon aren’t as bad as most teams I know of at wayfair. I’ve been told Wayfair has good teams, haven’t found them yet.

I’m in OPI (operations product) and it’s horrible, awful, terrible. They don’t do real product here. It’s glorified project management. Don’t do it.
