Google has recently added a round of behavioral interview for googliness. What is it? I don’t see a clearly defined set of principles to follow for prep
An interviewer very pushingly asked about bad experiences in my previous workplaces.

Korporate Kool-Aid
Nope. It's to assess if you an asshole or not.
More to assess if you are a cog ready to follow orders and drink the Google Koolaid
Not really. Actually "challenging the status quo" is part of Googliness.
It means a white male bro just like me, someone who started writing computer software when they were 12 years old. Seriously it's a way to exclude people from the club for no obvious reason it has never been defined to any great extent.
It was just questions that you answer based on your experience. Not the ridiculously phony thing with Amazon. It’s like a regular conversation about your experience and a more organic way of getting information from you about how you make decisions, work with others etc.,
Be evil.
My googliness interview was actually pretty nice. Felt like we were just chatting about work stuff and I just answered the questions as genuinely as I could. 0 prep.
Did u get the offer?
Yup.
How new is this? I didn’t get one 9 months ago
Basically turned into ‘hey want to come work for us because you think google is still prestigious’ nonsense and how well you can signal drinking their kool aid
