tech rounds, coding rounds, puzzles.. all are too main stream although the kind of questions you get can vary in terms of difficulty. what is difficult to some might be easy to someone else. for ex: Zoox has a freaking ‘Math’ round as part of their onsite interview. I thought that was cool unless they asked puzzles and called it Math round 🤷♂️ Years ago(may be couple of decades), tower of Hanoi problem was an interesting one but not anymore. so, lets hear it, what was your most intriguing interview question/experience?
I was asked to plot by hand a function defined as the quotient of two real polynomials
I'd have no idea? was it a software position?
Holy ! That one is good!
Plot by hand?
Working on autonomous vehicles does involve a bit of math I heard. What kind of question did the zoox math interview ask you?
I don’t know, it’s my good friend who did! But he didn’t reveal much!
