when do companies actually not care about school?
YOE = 1.5sh fulltime
current TC = 100k base + 5ksh in reimbursements + 90k(current value) in options(possible fantasy money) over four years.
i work in Detroit, so the TC is decent for the area and YOE.
some companies seem like they dont care about a non target school since i started at stockx, but when do they really not care about school? I feel i still get lumped into new grad land and overlooked for getting a foot in the door some places...
3.9 gpa in an MS in CS at a local school.
amazon is the only faang that has seriously reached out to me.
would love to change it up and work at big tech instead of a startup for my next move (at least a year). i love leetcode. i fear my biggest issue is getting a foot in the door.
