Hi Team I have recently had onsite round with uber and was reject and in talk with recruiter at google and just wanted to know if the hiring bar is same as uber at google or much harder than that.
The sad truth is there is no binary answer to your question
Yep
Got an offer from Uber Freight but failed Google phone interview. So luck I guess.
How long did the interviewer take to get back to you after the onsite at Uber?
A week
I guess it depends on the role and domain. What role did you interview for? SWE, EM, ML? How long did it take for the recruiter to get back to you after onsite? A side question.. If you got into Uber, would you have joined in the current circumstances?
I was interviewed for Uber freight as swe l5 and yes I would have joined coz freight has been growing rapidly and recruiter got back to me within a week their process is pretty fast I even got onsite confirmation just after 2 hours of my telephonic
There are people from Google failed Uber interview. And vice versa.
Uhm, I couldn’t get a job as a driver for Google’s autonomous vehicles , but became an Uber driver. What does that mean?
Who gives a fuck? How is any answer going to effect your life?
There's always an element of luck involved in all stages of interviews. The kind of questions Goog and Uber ask are very similar, so I'd expect you have an equal chance at either.
