Anonymity coupled with the traits that people in SW engineering often have. Reminds me of my computer science classes back in the day.
i don't consider blind to be that anonymous. your company is listed next to your name and people regularly reveal some details about themselves that could put them in a position where their identity is compromised. i consider even reddit to be a more anonymous platform than this. but it seems that people are aware that anonymity is limited. i don't see anyone here posting about behavior that violates company policy, such as the common practice of engineers using adderall or methamphetamine to boost their performance.
What makes you think this behavior is common?
It’s an anonymous online forum without downvotes. What do you expect?
It isnt that general. For an anonymous platform, there a lot of great people who take time out and give useful advice to help OPs.
Helo my bro
