Blind Presents: The 15 Companies With The Best Leadership Teams

Blind Presents: The 15 Companies With The Best Leadership Teams

It’s no secret that some workplace leaders outperform others. Having a leadership team that communicates a vision that motivates professionals during this time is critical.

Blind, an anonymous professional network, just launched Blind Hub, a workplace culture benchmarking tool. The Hub compiled a ranking of the 15 Companies With The Best Leadership Teams, based on more than 10,000 employee responses on the Blind App. The survey asked the following questions:

  1. I have confidence in the leaders at my company.
  2. The leaders at my company have communicated a vision that motivates me.
  3. The leaders at my company keep people informed about what is happening.

While some major innovating tech companies made the list, a few unexpected smaller startups also rank highly. Great leadership =psychological safety for professionals. With the coronavirus crisis upending businesses, pushing more people to work remotely as others face layoffs, employees value leaders who are transparent and lead with vision.

Transparent leadership is the key to fostering a culture of trust between leaders and their employees. Employees who are kept in the loop and understand their role in the overarching purpose and goals of the company are, understandably, more likely to put their trust in their employer.

Employees at ServiceNow felt their employer excelled in these categories, securing them the No.1 spot. ServiceNow holds a company rating of 4.1 on Blind’s company review pages. While the rankings below are driven by a favorability score, we also included the company rating that anonymous users on Blind leave on our company review pages.

Employees don’t quit their jobs, they quit their bosses. It is critical for employees to feel aligned with the vision presented by their leadership visions. The scores presented above are based on our analysis of verified anonymous employee responses to 3 simple questions:

  1. I have confidence in the leaders at my company.
  2. The leaders at my company have communicated a vision that motivates me.
  3. The leaders at my company keep people informed about what is happening.

More than 10,000 employees in the US provided feedback to determine the winners of the 2020 US September ranking. These 15 companies were modeled on a favorability spectrum. Scores are reported as percentages showing the percentage of people who agreed/were neutral/disagree to a question out of all people who answered the question.
