A thief steals from Robinhood

Robinhood announced a hacker took off with 7 million customers’ personal information, including full names and email addresses. Get this: A hacker tricked a customer support employee into giving up access to some of its customer support systems.

Metaverse rising

Roblox flexed on Wall Street when it reported earnings. Revenue in Q3 increased 102% from the previous year to $509.3 million, and the average daily active users is now 47.3 million. The metaverse stock shot up as much as 35% and now has a market cap of more than $60 billion.

What’s the tip on $8 billion?

DoorDash ordered takeout in Europe. The food-delivery app picked up delivery company Wolt for more than $8 billion in an all-stock deal to boost its international chops. Wolt has about 4,000 employees and more than 10 million users in 23 countries outside of the U.S.
