Tendies at Twitter
Funding has been secured for the self-described defender-of-free-speech Elon Musk. Musk has rounded up $46.5 billion to buy Twitter: $25.5 billion in debt financing and $21 billion in equity financing. In his attempt to convert the Blue Bird into a private company, he might also buy stock directly from existing shareholders.

No chill
Netflix shed $50 billion of its market cap as the video streamer reported fewer subscribers and less revenue than expected on its quarterly earnings call this week. The company blamed password-sharing and increasing competition, but user growth slowed as the pandemic settled down in the last year.

Food delivery regrets
Ever regret ordering food delivery? We’ve all been there, especially after a late night, but Just Eat is taking it to a whole new level.
The European online food delivery company, which bought Grubhub less than a year ago, is now looking to sell the company which it acquired for $7.3 billion. Some technologists on Blind think rival DoorDash is the clear winner.
Startup slump
The Nasdaq and NYSE aren’t the only places where tech share prices have gone to die recently. According to a new Forge report, the prices of some startups have fallen about 20% in February and March compared to the last three months of 2021. Worst still, venture capitalists have recently been less eager to strike big deals.
Find out on Blind if this means more startup layoffs are coming.
Art pays off
Art and design can pay off, contrary to what your parents might think. Product designers can easily earn six figures in total compensation, according to a new analysis from Blind. But you’d be wrong if you thought all a product designer did was draw or illustrate!
Learn just what a product designer does and the best-paying cities for the role—only on Blind.
Is this the fastest way to boost TC?
