The comp packages and benefits are great, as you would expect.
No work-life balance here. But with so many younger employees who are hungry and have minor life-commitments (no kids, can work long hours and/or at night), if you don't fit your manager's expectation of their ideal employee, expect nothing from them. 4 managers in 4 years here and this has been my observation with each.
Hello folks, Curious to hear how your experience at Apple has been after working for Meta. Has it been somewhat seamless or has it been a rocky road adjusting to the culture?
Have an offer from Apple and planning to take it. Coming from Amazon, I'm curious how good or bad the culture at Apple is. Things to consider: - Work life balance - Employee benefits - Job stability

Talked to a friend recently who is working at Apple and he couldn’t stop abusing the toxic culture at the company. Mainly complained about - 1. My team is loaded with engineers joining from Google. At least half the team is ex-google. My manager is from Google. My skip is from Google. Even my SVP (JG) is from Google! Clearly, they're dissatisfied with the piss poor salary and growth opportunities, which is highly understandable, but they...Read more
How would you compare and contrast the work culture at Apple and Amazon? Bad WLB or confidentiality at Apple doesn't really bother me. But I don't want to be in a culture like AMZN where there's Focus/PIP and a lot of mental stress and toxicity that comes with it. Anyone on Program Management / BizO...Read more
I don’t have a positive impression about Apple’s overall work culture and work life balance. I am curious how does it compare to Amazon? Because I don’t hear as many people leaving Apple as people leaving Amazon. So is it better? For context this is AIML core team. Thanks.
I’ve heard apple has secretive culture based on privacy laws etc., so when I reached out to someone on LinkedIn asking for referral, I didn’t propose a call. I just gently asked, attached my resume, and said look forward to hearing from you. Some feedback needed: do you think this is a good approac...Read more

I've only heard good things about this org. Anyone works there to pitch in on the culture? WLB? Career growth/TC progression? Thanks! Specifically for Darwin and kernel teams. #apple
How can the SWE culture at Apple be described as? Both Google/Facebook have distinct cultures ( ofcourse with exceptions ) Is Apple more engineering driven? Are engineers there constantly dragged down by irrelevant items? What percentage of the time do eng. also play the role of a PM?
