The work is extremely challenging and rewarding. The way that the CEO addresses the company is very transparent and tries to have everyone's needs in mind.
Unfortunately, the new VP or People has undone the great culture Aurora had. His new team just seems to want to look good at the expense of employee morale and belittling people's feelings about certain subjects. There was a great opportunity to bring in a diverse person to the leadership team but here we are with a team that doesn't have employee's needs in mind.
Anyone invested in the pot stocks? Especially aurora and cronos, what’s your take on them?
Two questions for those who work for #aurora (self-driving company) (1) Does #aurora grant RSU or Stock Option? Levels.fyi says stock option, but I am wondering if this information is outdated (pre-IPO) or not... (2) I'm also curious if they have RSU (or SO) refresher* or they won't grant stock ...Read more
Considering my final internship and am in team matching for Nuro and Aurora wants to schedule the final on-site with me for a specific team. I am hoping to convert my internship to full-time. New to Seattle and visited Aurora Lowes since rainier Lowes was out of stock. I counted atleast 7 hoe in parking lot alone at 1pm. Overall I think I counted more than 18 between two blocks Has it ever been that crazy?
First of all I don’t think this path is totally possible for everyone, but I do believe if you work hard enough at it, and with some luck you can see the same results. I graduated in 2015 and immediately started as an associate marketing manager at a series b startup in sf. 75k base + isos I staye...Read more

Tusimple, Aurora, and Embark have taken nose-dives this past week. How do Waymo and Cruise employees feel considering they've been given stock at crazy high 30 B > valuations? #tech #cruise #waymo #aurora #tusimple #embark
I had interview with Aurora and I think i would get offer from them. Is it worthy to join as senior engineer? What people inside think about the company future especially with very low stock price now? What is comp structure compared to IC5 at Meta? Thanks #aurora
How come Aurora’s feature-complete didn’t affect the stock positively? Is it not a big deal or haven’t wall street heard about it yet? https://blog.aurora.tech/products/the-aurora-driver-is-feature-complete #aurora
Was looking at Aurora. Stock is low. They are addressing the driver shortage in long haul trucking as well as the supply chain issue which is part and parcel. WDYT?
I have L6 offers from Aurora and Waymo. TC for Aurora is around 600k and Waymo not known yet but I expect may be ~100k less than this at 409a. Some pros and cons as I understand: Aurora - TC at their current valuation is very attractive. If product is launched in next couple of years, stock could a...Read more

Asking for a friend. Aurora: Senior, TC ~380, good team, I liked the staff engineer on the team, clear-ish goals, manager is a principal from Google also great. Public company, stock upside. Zoox: Just below Senior (high L4), no official numbers but expected to match or beat Aurora. Fully owned by...Read more
What does it mean when a private company offers RSU as part of their offer? (It’s Aurora the self driving car company) Does that mean I can sell their RSU like regular stocks? I thought only publicly traded companies can offer RSU and private companies offer stock options 🤔 Correct me if I’m wron...Read more
Hi, I work for an early stage self driving startup and as you can imagine I'm having a hard time understanding whether there's a chance my stock will be worth anything. I have question for folks who used to work for Embark, whether or not they joined Applied after the acquisition, since I saw an Au...Read more
I personally think they are and seems like investors are catching on: - Sundar is getting pressed by investors on Waymo losses - Aurora is approaching penny stock status - Argo -Uber sold ATG - Tesla FSD is basically a large scale consumer fraud in plain sight. Now that their stock isn’t making...Read more
