Compensated well, especially for entry-level positions. Benefits (insurance, 4-week sabbaticals) are quite good.
Upper management is stuck in an antiquated startup mindset. Extremely minimal remote work options. Middle management varies but has little power to change your situation. For customer service roles, experience/success depends largely on your customers. Work-life balance is nearly impossible.
Hello, epic systems people. I am getting an epic offer soon for SWE new grad role and I don't know what to expect. I have seen numbers from 85k-130k on different websites(levels.fyi, glassdoor, blind). What number should I aim for? #epic #epicsystems
Hello, Could someone plz share the total comp range of Senior DevOps and Senior Backend Engineer in Epic Games. YOE: 7 #swe #devops #engineering #epicgames

The position is for a Senior Backend Engineer, however, I couldn’t find much information about the salary range or culture in Epic Games. What factors aside from compensation make the tech companies an irresistible place to work? Prestige, fame, and glory, all of which are very Epic.
From what I hear they pay bottom of the barrel comp, and treat employees like crap. Do people just work there because they can't work anywhere else? The interview process is pretty intense so I would imagine epic engineers can get better jobs?
Does anyone have any insight on Epicor company? I am accepting an offer from them and want to know if anyone have any insight on compensation.
This is a company that I’m sure many people are interested in. We don’t get to hear much since you guys are located pretty far away. What’s it like working at epic? Would you recommend it as a company? How’s compensation? Do you like the location?
Can we talk about the bright and sunny side of our beloved tech companies instead of focusing on the negative sentiments like inadequate compensation? For instance, I love Epic because of all the amazing people and happy culture I get to experience.

I started recently as an SDE with a startup. It’s terrible, 60+ hours of work. Being forced to do full stack when I applied as a backend dev. Comp is bad, shit benefits. And overall terrible work culture. I’m in the process for Interviewing for a software tester position at epic. It’s basically hal...Read more

Has anyone made the switch from SE to doing ML/“data science”? I’ve been a SE for 8 years, I’m currently in a senior role, but the work is so mind numbing most of the time.
