Compensation is not bad since the recruiters are so desperate to fill their jobs asap that you can ask for the world without any attention to internal compression.
It’s a dog eat dog world now. No longer is Gap the company that values or supports family or cares about employee engagement, loyalty or tenure. You move up by who you know and how you look. Forget about diversity in the workplace. That’s all lip service. If you’re white and tall, this place is perfect for you.

Is there policy or gap required before reinterview at Apple (if possible same team)?
I did not know the policy that you can not extend your termination by taking vacations even if it's already approved by the manager. But the policy says if you have written approval from the company, you may be eligible to get vacations. I was naive and unaware of the policy. Otherwise, I would have...Read more

When 25 year olds talk about >200k total comp and there are may 40'year olds who don't get that much - I think we are in a bad world . Rural America is maybe right - the prosperity is spread unevenly and trump policies will reduce that gap - enough of greed , enough of entitlement- its time to wor
I have some leads for an OpenAI intro and wondering about the RTO policy there. (a) I live in Cupertino and commuting 3 days a week to SF would eat about 8+ hours per week of work time. Are they flexible about doing 1 or 2 days a week? (b) I'm in a relatively new long distance relationship and vis...Read more
