Compensation is not bad since the recruiters are so desperate to fill their jobs asap that you can ask for the world without any attention to internal compression.
It’s a dog eat dog world now. No longer is Gap the company that values or supports family or cares about employee engagement, loyalty or tenure. You move up by who you know and how you look. Forget about diversity in the workplace. That’s all lip service. If you’re white and tall, this place is perfect for you.
I heard Gap has reputable training program for inventory planner, but not sure it is a good idea to join them just to get their training. Business wise Nordstrom is doing pretty well and Gap seems a little bit of a sinking ship.
