Compensation is not bad since the recruiters are so desperate to fill their jobs asap that you can ask for the world without any attention to internal compression.
It’s a dog eat dog world now. No longer is Gap the company that values or supports family or cares about employee engagement, loyalty or tenure. You move up by who you know and how you look. Forget about diversity in the workplace. That’s all lip service. If you’re white and tall, this place is perfect for you.
I'm thinking to move to Europe (NL mostly) What do you guys think the gap here? Is anything in EU compensates the low wages for a migrant? Thanks.
I personally worried there is a huge pay gap between the tech and non tech wages. I dnt mind what the fk others think but yes students should immediately start switching to tech degrees and increase the supply and reduce the demand so that these 500k to 1M salaries comes down.

I don’t think it’s a conspiracy—I don’t think corporate and political elites have made a concerted, organized effort to attack tech workers—but I do think they smell blood in the water. Hammerheads, great whites, and tiger sharks don’t all organize and plan to meet together. Instead, they all natura...Read more

What it WILL do is make the industry more competitive. Why? Because the efficacy of the average develope...Read more
Tl;Dr: Physicians are an incredibly sympathetic lobby that have designed a healthcare system that disobeys economic fundamentals.
