Middle management sucks and have no management training at all. They don’t offer any support, they aren’t qualified to talk about growth, they are paranoid and refuse anyone to speak to other teams or even speak to the higher ups inside of your own group. There’s this gate keeping culture that doesn’t make a lot of sense to the point where it’s irrational. Most people get too political to the point where they will throw each other under the bus. And also they are terrible with diversity.
