New Grad Software Engineer YOE: 1 Houzz stock offer: 30K rsu (apx 330K with current evaluation) - 2 year rsu lock Vesting is over 4 year.. 1/4th at the end of one year.. later monthly prorated Is houzz doing good? Are rsus worth it? Does houzz plan to go IPO soon? (Recruiter says within 2 years)
Would you accept shares from Houzz, pre-IPO, valued at $120,000, as a major component of your compensation package? This is in the context of a similar base salary, but with shares or stock options amounting to three times your current compensation.
Trying to see which would be the best opportunity. Does anyone from verily know if the company will ipo soon? I know houzz is planning on ipo in 2022 but not sure if it will be successful. Houzz: 140k base, 90k stocks a year, 10k bonus = 240k TC Verily: 145k base, 40k stock, 30k bonus = 215k TC
