Great WLB and exceptionally pay/Hr since you’d only be working 2-3 hours per day. And if you’re not worried about overall pay this would be the place to be
No stock growth and pay is pretty poor for a high title.

It’s cheap in China, but as an American company, at least they should produce some in US, maybe 10%, iPhones. American workers need to share their profits. Tesla, Ford, GM, intel, dell, sumsang. All those great companies, they all have factories in US tc 130
So bad time to be picking a new Mac or iPhone as new models due very soon. Facebook currently offering Intel based MacBook Pro’s and iPhone 12. I have to make a selection at end of Sept for a mid/late Oct start date. Do FB flip to new models quick or should I just order now on their new hire site?
I keep seeing headlines claiming that intel won’t be able to support the volume needed for iPhone production in 2020. Is there any truth to this?

The QCOM drop seems like a gross overreaction for something that was already speculated upon when Apple bought the Intel modem division last year. And isn't Apple contractually obligated to use Qualcomm modems in iPhones until 2024 anyway, in addition to the royalties everyone had to pay qualcomm ...Read more

I’m debating getting a MacBook to make an iPhone app. Looking at eBay, no one seems to want the Intel Macs anymore. You can get an i9 from 2019 with 32gb for less than $1000. I use almost the exact same model for work and it seems to work great honestly. Are the arm MacBooks really worth the premi...Read more
Apple is world’s most valuable company. Sad to say it hardly did any meaningful innovation. Apple is basically a assembler which integrates components from 3rd party vendors and assembles them, and ditch them later to go vertical. They did this and killed many smaller companies in past. I have around ~3.5k to spent on a laptop. I do a lot of web development and c++ programming. I am thinking about: Apple M1 Pro with 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine with 32 GB memory. Btw, is there a significant difference between that one and Apple M1 Max with 10-core CPU, 24-core G...Read more

Seeing a lot of news recently indicating the PC industry of all things is somehow moving toward microtransactions and subscription based pricing where you essentially don't own your own hardware or operating system anymore.
