The company has good perks, awesome food and is located in the heart of valley.
The culture is pretty bad now. The managers are under pressure and that gets trickled down onto the engineers.
I keep seeing new job postings on LinkedIn but I know they all have hiring freeze + layoffs. Are these job postings real?
It seems mostly from sales and hiring. 10 weeks of severance pay. Not sure if engineering is affected. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/21/linkedin-cuts-960-jobs-as-pandemic-puts-the-brakes-on-corporate-hiring.html
LinkedIn sucks. All the listed jobs are stale, closed long time back but never removed from LinkedIn. Job posters never respond. Is there an alternate portal that is better for job search? TC: 450K
It is literally impossible to be a job seeker. You have to be open to work, but not obvious with a green banner that you are open to work. You can't outright say you are looking for a job, you have to say you are ready to move on to the next adventure or challenge, but also you have to be open to w...Read more

Are these LinkedIn job postings fake or what? Have been applying to many many but no luck. Getting calls only from startups to lure me into working for less. #jobopening #recruiting #hiring
I noticed recently job ads being spammed on LinkedIn and I think they are scams, or at least tricks. They all have different company names that have keywords like "IT Solution" or some random ass name. Then the job descriptions are like 99% identical and its always the same bio with "experts in con...Read more
I’m changing job soon and just wondering if I should make a public announcement on LinkedIn. I received a couple of these public announcements before. Some are from people that I don’t know. Some are colleagues/college friends and I’m usually happy to know that they found something better. I’m not ...Read more
I understand sheer volume and competition is making it harder to get jobs, but LinkedIn needs to enforce better rules to job posters. Seeing a “reposted” position from a FAANG company with 250+ applications tells me they are just wasting peoples time. If no one is getting jobs there, a competitor w...Read more
