- kind working team… genuine and authentic - incredibly smart and thoughtful people at all levels, on most teams - interesting opportunity space with tangible problems to solve and high potential for innovation - thoughtful focus on customers/users on most teams, with more and more company investment in how to do this effectively - recent investments in strategically aligning the organization and creating clarity in operations to support initiatives are beginning to help
Executives and senior leaders are terrible at investing in, growing and empowering the leaders under them, rather than holding them accountable and valuing their expertise and insights, they tend to bottleneck, micromanage and ignore the smart and thoughtful people they have hired. This has a three fold effect of eroding confidence in leadership overall, alienating working teams, and causing a culture of distrust, speculation and poor communication. Because everyone is “so nice”, and leadership is taking the tactic of micromanaging, a lot of things that could be worked through are left unsaid, and candor is absent at all levels. If Lyft can rightsize the above, by working with their leaders rather than around them; and investing in more leaders that are held accountable to contribute, drive, communicate and deliver …it will absolutely find itself on the right path.

Lyft makes it nearly impossible to report a driver using another driver's Lyft account. I couldn't report it because I didn't get in the car with the man who was using a woman's Lyft account. Lyft only gives the option to make a complaint about someone you've ridden with. Not everyone remembers to...Read more

Uber Lyft Docusign Twitter Pinterest Rivian Zoom PayPal Appian Cloudfare Bumble Palantir Robinhood Airbnb C3AI Teledoc I hold all the above stocks. Depressing and scared to login into my brokerage account. Don’t know whether the above stocks will go up in next 3-5 years? Bad investments.
I have a passenger rating of 4.7 which is ok but that's the only variable I can think of. Everyone I know gets discounts and some don't use lyft either. They sent me a discount back and it was for my previous city. Should I just delete the account and start over new?
Lyft opened up mega backdoor IRA so I am doing that now. I'm trying to move my individual stocks to the IRA so I can trade in that account and keep my boring index funds in taxable account. Article: I If there were ever a time when Lyft had a chance to catch up with Uber, it was last year. A constant barrage of negative publicity, including a #deleteUber social media movement, offered Lyft a gift in terms of picking up business. I mean I get if you show both options, but why hide Uber? Many people don't even have a Lyft account. Obviously I'm biased but still... Edit: I didn't mean that as an insult at all, and I would similarly say many people don't have an Uber account. It's just when I ask for a Lyft I don't want an Ube...Read more
