Lots of competent colleagues; you will work with good engineers who can get things done. The infra is pretty good which enables you to be productive. Perks are great and all-cash compensation is pretty nice too.
Management in engineering is so-so from my experience, really good explicit communication but also not willing to put the right process in place to make planning and execution as efficient as it could be. The company is changing a lot right now as it transitions from the old no-level world to a more typical organization with lots of juniors, fair number of seniors, and a few staff+. I think the change will be for the best in the long run but the culture hasn't quite adapted yet.
Can anyone suggest how to prepare for Netflix coding round and what to expect in it Thanks
What do people usually wear to the onsite interviews? My role is more on the business side. Should I wear a dress shirt / sport coat and jeans or go even more casual with hoodie/jeans etc?
What should I expect in the concurrency coding round while interviewing with Netflix? Is it going to be something like implement reader writer locks or implement bounded blocking queue etc? PS for those asking I was contacted by the recruiter on LinkedIn. TC - ~200k L63 🥜 #interview #enginee...Read more

As title. I have a coding round with Netflix. How difficult is it? I hear things like LeetCode Easy to Leetcode style hard or so. What is the reality? Anyone who either works there or has passed it?
Appearing for tech screen coding round for Netflix and was hoping to do some LC. But for Netflix tag it has very less questions. Can anyone provide some info for what kind of questions could be asked other than LC, maybe examples ?
Need help on what to expect from Netflix Phone Screen Coding Exercise? It is a phone interview and not a take-home exercise. The recruiter told me it won't be a leetcode problem but more like a problem-solving and coding exercise. #netflix #interview T.C: 350K
Feels like i can keep going with the question. No time limit. How many hours do you spend on it? When do you stop? What are the key things that they are looking for in your solution?
What concurrency coding #interview questions are asked at #Netflix? What does the process look like? What IDE do they use? Do they ask to compile and run your cover? Do they allow using external libraries/frameworks? EDITED: Had an interview lately. I was asked to implement a scheduled thread pool,...Read more
Watching this got me so livid, seeing how corporations like Google can copy other companies' inventions with no remorse. So much for "don't be evil" or "do the right thing". TC: 🥜 at Pokèmon So imma flex with household TC: $600k

Hey folks. I have an upcoming onsite with Netflix for an ML position. I'd appreciate any insights you can provide about what to expect. They don't seem be be asking leetcode-style questions. I've been told that the coding will be related to the day to day job and geared towards ML. Wondering if this...Read more
How true is this show? I really enjoyed this show. Any googler from Earth team? https://youtu.be/iDvPvqImb-4
The recruiter said there will be 2 coding interviews in screening, one focused on coding and other on coding+problem solving. Do they ask leetcode style qns? What to expect in problem solving round? This is for L5 SWE. Tc 250k #netflix #netflixinterview
I heard that each team in Netflix could freely structure their loop but I was surprised that my loop had no coding. Is it usual?
Hi there, Have some interviews coming up with Netflix and was wondering what kind of coding challenges I will face. It’s for an infosec / cyber security role.
As title. I had an on-site coding round. Question had several parts. I solved most of them. Left one without answer due to time limitations. How is it evaluated? Like do they require complete end to end answer for everything? Does it matter if you explain your reasoning and solution?
Hi I have coding session interview scheduled in few days at netflix. But seems like coding session is not your vanilla leetcode interview. Can anyone tell me more what to expect here. Thanks @netflix #netflixinterview #netflix #tech
High compensation and hiring only the best of the best SWEs. A brutal, engineering focused, competitive culture. Is there still good amount of tech debt @ Netflix? How often do the engineers commonly come across a bad quality code there?
