It took Amazon 8 years to get to profitability, Netflix 6 and Google 5. Palantir looks like a bag of sh*t the founders are trying to unload. What am I missing here?

Got an offer from Palantir, but current team at Amazon is not that bad. Current TC: $235K, L5 New TC: $280K EDIT: I am surprised PLTR has such bad rep in blind. Their revenue growth has been pretty good though. #software #engineering #swe
I remember that when I read Zero to One (published in 2014), Peter Thiel described how he built Palantir Technologies and specified it had reached $1B in revenue. PLTR went public yesterday and 2019 revenue was $742M -2018 was $600M Pretty disappointing.
I’m a fan of the company and if money wasn’t a consideration I wouldn’t hesitate to join. But, Im trying to figure out how much upside there is if I were to join today. I’m speculating that revenue is around $350-400m and the valuation is $9B. I’m concerned that as a primarily hardware business, th...Read more
Current stock market trend and insane valuations for stocks like Palantir, Snowflake, Shopify, Tesla is beyond my comprehension. Snowflake is already at 118B valuation for ~300M year revenue. Palantir is at 53B valuation. Do we see tech bubble will eventually pop or this will continue and NASDAQ w...Read more
They've never been profitable, with flat revenue and no prospect of making money in the foreseeable future. Their valuation is now down 80% to 4.4 billion (per https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-09-04/morgan-stanley-s-long-romance-of-palantir-pays-off-as-ipo-nears ).
I read mixed reviews of Palantir on Glassdoor so not sure about the culture of the company. Unlike most of the popular Silicon Valley startups, Palantir is quite secretive and not much information in the press. Only positive articles lauding the problems they are solving but nothing on their product...Read more
Some in this forum say PLTR is undervalued at 40B market cap (ps ratio of 36 with revenue at 1.1B). Palantir does seem to be a pretty unique SaaS company. I like their products and I don't think there's anything like it but their growth is only 40% yoy (i guess it's a lot for their sector right now ...Read more
This is the answer by ChatGPT. Any thought? Original source: Reddit I've been scoping out growth stocks that have been demolished recently to try to find hidden gems, so I decided to look into Robinhood. As bad as their earnings report was recently, there's an even worse badness hiding in their numbers. Even though their revenue for the yea...Read more
