The business isn't growing and therefore no new challenges, especially for senior employees.
Can anyone provide Quora total comp (salary, stock, bonus) numbers for a senior? Also, have there been liquidity events?
Received an offer from Quora as a DS, base 150k + stock options 230k / 3 yrs. Stock sounds a lot but I don’t know if Quora is going to IPO soon. Heard some other people saying Quora is not making money and the product is not valuable. Can anyone at Quora share anything? Thanks! TC: 125 k Yoe: 2 ...Read more
I'm a senior at college and I have two job offers, one from quora and one from Facebook, both in data science. I interned at Facebook last summer in DS. I'm unsure which to take. I think the Facebook brand goes far but apparently Quora has a good reputation in the valley. Also I think I'd learn way...Read more
Tc from both companies are comparable: ~220 k, PhD + 2 yoe Quora: current valuation is 1.8B, there seems to be more upside potential? Square: company is doing great, stock is liquid.

Offers from all three, and I would be thrilled to work at either one. I've heard both negatives and positives about each, though I don't know how much to weigh these pros/cons against one another. Goal is not to maximize TC, I'm young and I want to know what you guys think would be the best place t...Read more

I got 30k in stock options unit for new grad offer. I’m wondering how much are those worth? Quora has not have funding in 3 years. My recruiter say. The option in 2017 is worth 9.80$ and strike price is $1.80. So the total option right now is worth $210,00. Has it decrease or increase since then?

People here seems to be focused on TC. TC is fine but the worst part is that the collective views are really short sighted. Examples: 1. People who used to say Meta >;>; Apple literally 6 months ago are now Apple >;>; Meta because of the stock. Sentiment changes very fast here (ex. ChatGPT
