Interesting product and projects, amazing work life balance, generally good people
Uninspiring leadership, terrible middle management, massive bureaucracy considering company size, CEO is completely unqualified and demotivating, awful product prioritization, rampant technical debt, and no real decision making capability by ICs or line managers. Things used to be better, but culture and company has been on a steady decline.
That's what it feels like being here. I'm very curious about what other people think about this site.

Out if any company, surprised to see Reddit crippled their mobile site to force everyone to download their app. I guess business people are in control of Reddit now Soon you will become Yelp.
I'm expecting an offer soon. I like the team and manager and feel excited about the job. but I'm concerned about Reddit's future. They're in the ads business and we know that ads are hurting. Reddit is hiring like crazy, but so was Meta as recently as August and we all saw how that went. Reddit is p...Read more
