This tiering is based on both trajectory and overall scale of total comp (base+bonus+stock) for IC positions. - Is this pay based tiering accurate ? Tried to arrange prominent tech companies according to pay (just pay, NOT wlb, NOT quality of work, NOT prestige etc.). Does this look accurate ? Appreciate any inputs. Tier 0: Netflix Tier 0.5: Google, Facebook, Airbnb, OCI Tier 1: Uber, LinkedIn, Lyft, Stripe, Pinterest, Square, Dropbox Tier 1.5
- Spotify agile model Was reading about Spotify agile model recently and found it interesting. What do you guys feel about it? Is it more developer controlled with less to none infra team support requirement? Is it optimal for cloud model and not so for on-premise infrastructure?
- Any Google Play Music engineers here? I love GPM and think it's far superior to Spotify, Amazon and Apple. The ability to load your own music into the cloud and allow it to be played on any of your devices is great for someone like me who has lots of live concert bootlegs. But the Playlist are annoying. The Shuffle feature on a playlis
