Business outlook looks good, both near term and long term.
There is no work life balance. Management goes as far as proudly announcing they don't believe in work life balance. They're forcing RTO, and the reason they give for that is they "believe" in it. The pay isn't great. They make up for the not so great pay with RSUs, yet they keep pushing back IPO for various reasons so it's just a carrot dangled in front of you. Expectations are irrationally high on the recruitment front. Extremely high turnover. People leaving our being fired left and right, including management. Offices outside NY are just bad.
I was looking at stubhub offers for new grads in levels and they seem insanely high. Base is 160k and stock is 100k so the total is 260k. Does anyone else find this surprisingly high especially given the negative reviews online? Since stubhub is pre ipo, the stock is obvs not liquid. Does anyone kn...Read more
Not troll thread. Need help evaluating. StubHub: 225 base, 800k RSUs/4 years (pre-IPO). 425k per year at face value. Two Sigma: 180 base, ? bonus. Recruiter says comp committee is indexing on ~300k (final numbers tbd). Likely 75k signing bonus (one time) in addition to the 300k for 375k total firs...Read more
What do you think I should take? I have a home and huge family in the Midwest so the remote job sounds fun to stay here and travel whenever I want, 90/hr here is a great living. But StubHub is more comp, but I have to move to NY… if I could choose where I’d have to move I’d go for a sunny beach ar...Read more
How would this affect their compensation, benefits, job security, other areas? For example, StubHub employees' benefits are through eBay.
I feel like stubhub is a company that never comes up in any sort of discussion around top or high-paying companies, but I saw a senior SWE posting out of NYC that’s paying 200-300k base. I checked levels and they low key pay really well. Whats the vibe at StubHub right now? I think their business m...Read more
Anyone here work at viagogo/stubhub? Would you recommend it? Hows the comp like? Do you get regular raises/bonuses? Any impending layoffs after the viagogo acquisition?
Offer Morgan Stanley Full time in office TC - $120k (base and bonus) Offer StubHub Remote Yearly TC - $100,000 ($90k base + RSU) The Morgan Stanley position pays more and I’m not opposed to going in person but it isn’t really what I want to do for my career long term. Going to be interviewing for a Data Analyst role with StubHub next week and wanted to know if they allow work from home? The job description states that it’s in New York, New York but I’ve read that they allow remote work. Also, does anyone know what the TC would be for a L1 or L2 Data Analyst? Cu...Read more
Anyone get an offer or work there, can you say your RSU price or what the valuation of StubHub was when offered? Or total outstanding shares? They are very secretive about it, but state huge numbers in their offer. If it's all made up, then it's meaningless and their total comp is actually very low...Read more
I have two offers that I am lukewarm about, I wonder what Blind has to say. My current TC is 330k at today's stock price. The next opportunity for a repricing will vest in August 2023 at which point it should be much closer to 400k again . Good benefits but really boring work. No path to L6. L5 S...Read more
