It is a job and it is remote. That is about all the pros currently
There is no culture and there is slim to no room for growth. Bonuses are non existent so don’t even look at that when getting hired unless you are c level in which case I’m sure you will line your pockets. Just to show you how cheap this place is, we used to have paid for company lunch on Wednesday’s which we used to praise but they got rid of that stating that Covid is now over but we had paid for lunch on Wednesday’s prior to COVID ever being a thing so there is that. You can be a top employee and they will try their hardest not to give you a raise and then give you the work of 5 other people that they laid off without an extra penny. Place is a joke.

Anyone used TrueCar for buying new car? Is the price they provide from dealer negotiable?
Truecar will be laying off employees fairly soon. The layoffs will occur in technology. This includes individuals and possibly teams. their will also be people managed out via PIP. The plan is in place. If you're thinking of coming to TrueCar, don't. We have lost over 40% of our product/technol...Read more
A friend of mine was laid off last week at TrueCar. His package was horrible and there was no WARN Act notice which was really weird because I believe that this layoff due to size of lay off warrants them getting the 60 days notice. Anyone else fall into this same problem? #layoff #severance
Could someone refer me for a position I'm interested in at True Car? #truecar
About a year ago USAA made changes to their site which affected our traffic to the tune of maybe negative millions in revenue. Truecar knew about the changes but failed to inform stockholders during the earnings call at the time. As a result, many C level share holders were able to "cash out" befor...Read more
Anyone use the TrueCar new vehicle buying program before? Not sure how this process works entirely - received some online offers via the Sam’s Club True Car program, don’t know what next steps are. TC: 121K Prev TC: 73K
Looking at getting a new vehicle from the TrueCar program partnership with Sam’s Club. I’ve received some online offers from nearby dealerships that participate in the TrueCar program. I’ve never done this process before, so curious what next steps look like if there’s an offer I like? Anyone use t...Read more
Anyone purchase a new vehicle recently without having to prebuild one online then wait months on end for it to ship and arrive? Not vehicles like the Bronco, but general vehicles that aren’t expected to have a 12-24 month build time. I.e. 2023 Honda CRVs - they’re shown as available online, then af...Read more

TrueCar seems rigged. Any good options to base offer on actual recent sales?
How dependable are websites like truecar, carmax and carfax are? Any particular place where I should look out for good bargains/deals?

Wondering what the avg Sr. Data Analyst salary is at Carvana or similar companies like TrueCar. Glassdoor seems to show really low numbers closer to 80k. Doesn’t seem right but would like to know
I see there are edmunds, kbb, and truecar that shows some estimates. Is there any better service that shows raw user data(on the road price) on car purchases on realtime basis as reported? This may help track close to realtime market values of cars/location. Thanks.
