- Why do people stay at companies longer than 2 years? I can understand staying at a faang company for longer but then there are people who stay at some unknown company as a swe for 5+ years. - Microsoft Rewards Conversation and Calibration Friendly reminder to Microsoft Managers since Rewards & Calibration conversations are happening. Stand up for your loyal employees and put a stop to weak leadership penalizing top talent so they can reward their friends! - why do you want to buy a home in bay area? Why? Its certainly not a market with booming homes and residences. Its already built and theres red tape to reduce building any further. - vote Did you take a pay cut to join a start-up? FANG (except Amazon) have deep pockets and pay better than most start-ups. So for folks who moved from FANG to start-ups, did you take a pay cut (after taking private equity into account) for more interesting/bigger scope work and potential rewards?
- link So Googlers are unhappy with their pay? I think Bret Hill has delivered what he was hired for, to screw up Google's pay. Is this really such a problem or media is just blowing it up. But in last 2 years we keep hearing Google Low balling big time, so I think its part of a broader plan to overall lower Google's overall compensation. That

- What stocks will 5-10x in the next 5 years? There are so many stocks that have risen 5x in the last 5 years. Including most of the FAANG companies.
