Benefits are great, food is free and top notch, interesting work
Crap management, performance review process is subjective, mean girl culture
Good ecosystem and dev tools a lot of OSS projects.
Bad management and career growth due to leadership since 2020

I got an offer from Uber (L5a) recently and am expecting an E5 offer from FB. Uber's recruiter gave me numbers on the phone, not on paper, and I couldn't note down the breakdown, but from what I gather it comes down to around $406/year + they'll offer a signing bonus of around $60k. I assume that if...Read more

I got an offer for L5a in Uber and E5 in Meta last year. Although, I accepted another offer and joined Block. With Block's stock tanking and uninteresting work at Block, I am thinking of accepting one of the above offers. Money wise they both were similar, Uber was a little higher anyway. But that d...Read more
I've verbally accepted a Facebook offer over Uber which I00% intend to follow through with. Mostly because Facebook seems like a more interesting place to work, especially as someone new to big tech companies.
