Netflix has so many competitors. But google/youtube successfully navigated/ killed competitors except TikTok. Do you think it’s super hard to create youtube at scale or something else?
Is it even feasible to make one? YouTube does so much shit like get rid of dislike button and no one can do anything about it TC: 180k CAD
Wouldn’t a beautiful ending to this story be that the ex-Googlers formed a coalition and built a competing product? Teach them a lesson the hard way — declaring war on the corporate elite by way of the people :) You don’t need to build something overly special. You just have to cut some exclusivity...Read more

YouTube removes the like/dislike ratio - you can only see likes now. https://youtu.be/kxOuG8jMIgI Many prominent creators are being vocal about this, we can only hope YouTube listens to them and reverts this stupid decision. Otherwise I hope a new competitor comes up.
What are your thoughts on Odysee (a decentralized video platform based on LBRY blockchain)? Do you think such platform would potentially become a real competitor to YouTube?
They have so many YouTube videos. Surprised there's another high-profile entrant into that space for these health clinic startups, thought One Medical had that space locked down and there's plenty of other competitors already like Carbon Health, Dr. on Demand, Parsley, etc.

I don't even know if this is on FB's roadmap, but speculatively, with their competitors all on OTT, it feels like a logical next step. How would they compete with Amazon, Netflix, even YouTube on a living room wall when they are such a personal user authenticated service?
